I am a fine artist based in Leeds, United Kingdom. My work is based in absurdism, the philosophy that humans are inherently searching for a meaning and purpose for our existence, and are frequently met with unclear answers from a chaotic and irrational universe. What interests me about this idea is that by doing this humans cause our own existence to be absurd. I use my practice to explore and draw attention to the absurdity surrounding humans and our existence. The absurd is present in every aspect of my practice, including when exhibiting as i enjoy non-traditional gallery spaces.
